The adventures continue! Farming adventures … and local artist encounters! We started the day off with our paddock and donkey visiting chores. It was getting to be SO hot outside that we headed to Eagle Lake Beach to cool off. Kyla spent a long time teaching Lexi how to do handstands – with a life-jacket on. Lexi sure is persistent! The afternoon involved some time working on projects for the fair. We also got to visit The Tye Dye Lady. She lives in Parham. Her name is Melody and she makes beautiful tye dyed clothing. The girls were very happy to come home in their own tye dyed fashions! This evening we visited Long Lake Ranch to meet Judy. Judy is an orphaned heifer who is being bottle raised. She was a lot of fun to feed! Phew! A busy day!
