Woohoo!! FINALLY … the LONG awaited first egg from the Orpington hens!! We’re a few … ahem… quite a few… dollars into a new coop – a new run … I’m SO relieved. Ede was even out in the garage so I could holler for her to come…. QUICK! It was Chewbawka who laid this first. Now … perhaps the other girls will catch on as well.
In the meantime Chewy’s egg is being feted royally across the family networks and the web.
