And…ZAP!

Thanks to the patron saints of our little critter village we now have an extra two acres ready for grazing in the back field!

Thank you Heidi and Gary! ❤️ We are now watching the grass grow. The plan is to wait until it is at least six inches high before the jennies give it a go. The longer the grass the further down the stalks the sugar will be.

While we worked the jennies and the goats paced the paddock fence line. They would have been more than happy to come out right away.

I am curious to see what their reaction will be to the fence line… it will be their first encounter with an electric barrier. I don’t like to think of those soft noses getting ZAPPED! Hopefully they catch on quickly.

In the meantime they are happy to munch on the moss and grasses on their hillside.
