We have learned we need a wind shelter to deflect the northeast winds – they bring rain and snow.
This time the awning will have a sloped roof … no more freezing puddles of water to push down.

I was on for ‘wet nurse catching duty’ tonight.

Little Grey has grown quite a bit over the weekend. Look how he now measures up to his sister!

We are setting quite a pace this week … still trying to out run the arrival of the bugs. Such a bonus to have this warm dry weather without the blackflies! I think maybe we have another few days before the swarms arrive. Crossing my fingers!
