Randy talking in code to his friends outside the goat room.
Little Grey contemplating how to ‘steal’ a little milk on the sly.
BB and Little Grey … still a size difference to overcome.
Randy is sure he hears ‘someone’ out in the feed room. If I wish he would go an investigate for me. 😉
Tom the Turkey caught me unawares this morning. Until today I’ve been delivering food and water in the dark. This morning he took one look at the large bucket of water I was carrying and decided he was coming directly for a drink! It was like being hit with a heavy feather pillow in the back. No fuss … just caught me on the way down for his drink!
These two ducks run circles when I come into their coop. I see they are starting a nest with a cozy of eggs … that might be hatched?
Little Grey supervising the chick feeding. 😉
I was SO happy to see this little group develop for a while this afternoon. Too soon Cinnamon came along and kicked Little Grey out … but he did manage to get the idea of how to curl up with the other kids first!
This is Sandy. This is Sandy’s way to avoid being caught to wet nurse! 😉
It takes a great deal of coordination to claim that spot!
The girls came out to the barn to hang out with us tonight.
Kids with kids … a real delight.
Finally – a shot of the tennis ball method!
Although Sandy was so mellow tonight she was just relaxing while the boys got their feeding.
Lovely to end the day hanging out with the Tryon girls in the goat room.
