What a great weather day today. We all got out to explore the ice …Â everywhere! We ended up spreading some bedding from the barns to make pathways between ice slicks so the jennies could move about. They were especially grateful to be able to get to their water buckets. While the girls slid on top of the snow cover or crawled across the skating rinks that were the paddocks and the Bully Road I set about with my salt bag. I am still greatly entertained by the snap, crackle and pop of the ice as soon as the salt lands! By the end of the day we were moving around a lot more confidently. The girls headed off to Kingston today. What a great Christmas get together. I think my favourite thing was the mixing of our ‘big’ and ‘little’ kids. Thanks for making the effort to come everyone!
