Checking out the woods …
… as if she knew that tomorrow they’ll be socked in with snow!
On guard
Munching on the last of the green
Just a little more prehistoric looking every day!
Showing off his feathers
Quick … before the birds on the other side of the mirror notice …
… get the last of that millet!
Waxing moon
Tucked in for the night
Nimble as a mountain goat
A week of snow heading our way. I think we’re ready. We reinforced the ‘awning’ on the snow shelter in the front paddock. Forgot to take some pictures of that. I’ll include them tomorrow. The barns are clean and stocked with extra hay. The coop is warm and stocked with fresh water and chicken scratch … and … today the confusion even figured out that was something they could eat. We’re getting there! 😉

Yes, I’m thinking they’ll end up being small turkey sized. Hopefully friendly small turkey sized! 😉
