She knows I took her treat out of this pocket!
The snow had started even before we woke up … and has fallen on and off all day. I think this counts as the first storm of the season. We’ll get more overnight and into Monday morning. Not to fear. We’re all set! Once I was bundled up it was quite enjoyable to be out and about in it. The donkeys are cozy in the two barns. There is lots of room for free grazing in the hay barn while I do other chores. The keets are happy with their hay nests and heat lamp. The wild bird flock were ready and waiting when I piled seed for them on the bird bar. Ede and I and the cats are warm inside. It is even nice to hear the wind blowing out there when we know everyone is safely tucked in. Here comes Winter!
