Not watermelons … just BIG grapes!
Breakfast
Darby gets the private seating in the back of the barn! 😉
The look I see when a dog is being walked down the road.
Running to make sure they don’t miss their chance at a GOOD look!
Last of the garden clean up.
A few fixes to prepare the donkey playground for the snow.
Bella thinks she’d like to help in the front yard garden.
Owl face on old oak … can you see it?
Little spruce that we’ll protect over winter.
High stepping Rosie.
So long oak leaves and earthen hillside.
Wait … which way ARE you going?
Lookout
Cyclamen on the kitchen table.
We savoured today … worked slowly enjoying the last of the warmth … the chance to work in my t-shirt … the crunchy leaves … wearing my dogeared hard toed runners … brushing dry donkey coats. We brought in the hoses from the paddocks … put the snow plow on the Bully … and tipped the feed bins in the lower paddock over to keep them dry. I stayed out until I could see winter coming a few kilometers down the road in the black storm clouds of the Colorado Clipper headed our way. We’re all dug in – snug and warm and dry. So long fall! Goodbye!
