We’re riding the in-between days now. Not summer – not fall – not winter… yet. Today’s weather was brought to us courtesy of our neighbours to the southwest. Dry frangible oak leaves strained to hold on – tiny boats hugging their moorings in a storm. All the howling had the jennies’ ears on high alert. Even the Guineas were wondering what all the noise was. That didn’t confuse them near as much as when the donkeys actual heads swooped in their front door! Step one of getting acquainted I hope. I sure get a kick out of being able to just sit and watch the antics of the keets. Here is a little sample clip.
