Happy Thanksgiving

Like most Canadian sporting families we’re perched in front of the television cheering on Canada’s baseball team – Go Jays! ‘One’ of us also has his headphones in one ear listening to the US Presidential debate, the other ear listening to the Jays game on his MLB channel on his iPad and is texting his dad with his third … ear … eye. 😉 Multitasking at its best.

We got our first real bite of fall today. A good ‘sting’ in the air. James helped out with the chores this afternoon. Not so sure he thought that was what he was coming out to do … but then I gave him a rake and pointed at the donkey garden. Thanks Jambo! He also managed to get in some great selfies. I wrapped up the front garden flowers before we came in. Rosey cheeked!

Perfect for warming up with a Thanksgiving meal. Hearty fall stew and homemade apple pie. Yum! I finished the blanket I’ve been crocheting for James. First blanket I’ve ever made. I’ve made afghans … but this is one solid yet soft and cozy lap blanket – for warming up in his Hamilton abode come winter.

All is well here at the Meadow. Our family – human and furry – send you Thanksgiving cheer.
