Darby and Rosie were having a wonderful afternoon snooze in the sunshine.
They were stretched out – settling an itch here and there – but happy to settle.
Bella, on the other hand, was relaxing in the woods … not at all happy with the growing heat of the afternoon. She wanted to go to the back paddock where there was a breeze and some shade.
So she picked up her toy bowl and began to drag it along the sand … first trying to wake Rosie… to no avail.
Not to be discouraged … she set her sights on her bigger sister.
Bella: It’s TOO hot here Darby. Wake up … come play with me in the shade.
So, Darby heaved herself up …
… and then this happened! 😉
