… well, actually, the beach came to us! Thank you Travis! The entire time Travis was working Rosie was following behind. She loves big machines AND the men that drive them. She gave Travis such a big hug. It is fun how much donkeys remember. They don’t forget a friend. We now have soft sand over most of our paddock spaces. That makes for smooth running, soft bedding and great rolling everywhere. We still kept gravel on our road between the paddocks and at the gates. We have a rocky hill with another gravel road and rocky pathways. I think our hooves will get a good workout and a good cleaning at the same time.

How lovely that the beach could come to you!! Donkeys that love big machinery? I thought they would be kind of spooked by them.
I’m sure Rosie was a carpenter or a truck driver in another life! 😉
