Our yard is a raucous aviary this week! I wonder what the ‘regulars’ think of the influx of the ‘summer population’! I think my first favourite is the Robin. His morning songs are so beautiful … My second favourite is the catbird. I can’t help but laugh when I realize there are NOT twenty different birds sitting in that one tree. The catbird is an amazing ‘mockingird’ and tries his best to out sing and out play the entire collection of birds normally in the yard – and then some! Here’s to the sweet music of spring.
