Even The Birds Grow ‘Fur’ Around Here!

Is it any wonder that Blue Jays are favourites around here? Such a cold day – a bitter northwest wind was chasing people and animals alike to sheltered spots. The Jays were roosting in the large oak and the cedar tree using the east side of the house for a wind break. Next week this time it will be March … and by the looks of our weather forecast it may be coming in like a ‘lion’. That is okay with me – if – it goes out like a lamb! 😉
