Anticipation

Rosie and Bella have noticed that Ede is making noises in the garage … could she possibly be bringing out more treats? Everyone had just had their fall hooves trim – no fuss!
That involved extra handfuls of carrots … reward treats. I think the herd was hoping Ede was going to reward them too! 😉
There was much discussion at the gate …
What was packed in ‘Red’? Lunch bag letdown … only wood chips! I didn’t get pictures of me having to move the woodchips out of their normal storage spot. The jennies decided to open all the corners just to make sure there were no prizes inside!
I do have to say that this onset of winter has gone very smoothly here. After two years we seem to have a pretty good system for food, bedding, shelter, training routines, and even snow removal. Hopefully by thinking that out loud I haven’t jinxed us!!
