What a beautiful sunny day in these parts! And if you were out of the wind … nice enough.
However … in the wind was a totally different story! I’m fascinated by how quickly the donkeys are growing in their winter coats. I hope they aren’t akin to the fuzzy caterpillars in that a heavy coat means a heavy winter?
After the watering, feeding and scooping are done all four donkeys are ready for a full body massage. 😉 I’m always keen to help out. Their fur is so warm. They will literally watch to see when a ‘spot opens up’ and take turns getting a good back scratch from me.
There are still pink carnations and alyssum blooming in our front garden – in November!
The fall sedum is doing its usual splendid showing.
And I’m certain this phlox has turned into a dried flower bloom on its own stem.
This is the morning glory vine stem. See how THICK that is!! It has wound its way all the way to the top of the planter at that thickness. I guess we’ll plant them again in the same spot!
Hope you’ve stayed warm and managed to catch some sunshine today.
